Guest guest
Maybe the reason u were told to use inhaler was if they found your broncholi's were spasming and the inlhaler is prescribed for this reason, he probably figured use the inhaler to keep these open, and the chest would stay dialated which would lighten up some of the tightening pain. ??? I am on inhalers not for asthma, but get into trouble alot with allergy, and because of scar tissue in my lung, from PE they have had me using inhalers for these, reasons, so not always used just for asthma. Hope whatever u have goes quickly. Take Care Sharon BRENDA ASH wrote: I also have asthma; I have never used my inhaler for pain. This one I am going to ask my Dr about. hug, Do you know the reasoning behind a doctor telling you to use an asthma inhaler for pain? I'm an asthmatic (severe) since I was about 3 years old. I've been on numerous types of inhalers throughout my 31 years and nothing has helped pain. I would also be extremely concerned about using an asthma inhaler that does not have asthma or not for its intended purpose because of the risk of death with the acceleration of the heart rate. Just curious if the doc had an explanation for you on how this allegedly works? --------------------------------- Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo! Search.
