Guest guest
Hey Sharon, I like that idea. There could even be a shuttle inside to take me back and forth. Of course since he (not my Oncologist, but my Pulmonologist) is the doctor who says he doesn't believe in Fibromyalgia, what can you expect! I guess u should ask your Dr. who told u to stay our of the cold and yet have to go for TX's that maybe he should build u a heated tunnel from your door all the way to the facility u have to get to! LOL I am so ready for 60* weather even. Do u think you'll make the class. Take Care Sharon Marti Boguski wrote: Hi Sharon, Things are very cold and snowy in CT. I would love to be on that sunny beach with you, but it's not outside my door either. We are supposed to get another storm next week too, I just hope it doesn't intefere with my class or my treatments. I have been lucky the last two weeks because it has been snowing mostly on Friday nights or the weekend. It snowed on and off Friday and Saturday this weekend. We normally get snow in March, but not the frigid temperatures. I think those bother me the most. Thursday, with the wind and the frigid temps, it was terrible out and then again on Friday. I really hated to have to go out in the cold. Oh yeah, my sarc doctor told me to stay out of the cold. It wasn't good for the sarcoid. He didn't tell me how to do it. I hope the weather holds out for your doctor's appt. I think you are smart to take the train. Do you live close to Portland? I use to spend a lot of time in both Postland and South Portland. Loved it there. I had close friends who lived there, but have moved now. You take care too, Marti sharon studley wrote: Hi Marti- How are things in CT? Did u get the snow?, or rain? We were dumped on again, sun out today, laying on couch pretending I am on a beautiful sunny beach somewhere, but once I open the door to take little dog out that soon snaps me back into reality! We are do for another storm next wk here!, it is March will someone tell mother nature because she won't listen to me! I hurt really bad when I woke this a.m!!!!! It was so hard to move and were out of my med's had not picked them up at pharmacy, so sent hubby over as soon as opened which seemed like forever, I am to go down to Ma on the 11th to my Dr's as if I have to cancel again will make # 4I because of this reason. Guest guest
Hi Sharon, Sorry I pressed send before I meant to, but then what's new? I just got back from my class, so thanks for asking. Sitting for 3 hours listen ting to a lecture is painful in so many ways. I thought at one point I might fall asleep, but then starting hurting so badly that it woke me up. Hope these classes lead to something I can make money from; otherwise I suffer red for nothing. This is not nice, but I don't really like the woman who is in charge of this organization (Autism Spectrum Resource Center ASRC); she didn't lead the class though and I like the woman who taught it a lot. Next Tuesday it is from 9:00 to 1:30 because she needs to skip the class on 3/18. I stayed at my daughter Andi's house with Joe and my three grandchildren on Monday night because she lives so close to the place where the classes are. It worked out well, but I was really tired this morning from playing so much with Jack and Brady - and Aidan the baby too. I also had to pack what I was going to the class in and sleep in and make up and my pillow and that got to be a real drag. I have to decide if it was worth it by next Monday. It helped Andi because she had a conference call (she works at home on Mondays) while I was there and I could watch the kids for her. I walked with Brady and Aidan up to get Jack off the school bus (in kindergarten) and it was 51 degrees and felt so good. Start treatments again tomorrow. Thanks for checking in on me. Take care of yourself, Marti sharon studley wrote: I am about 40 mins from Portland.
