Guest guest
Hello, I am new to this list, and have spent a few hours reading old posts. I live in the NYC area, and just started seeing Dr. Peacocke. Like I have seen posted here so many times, she suspects gluten-intolerance and vitamin D deficentcy, and too low estrogen from being on ortho tricyclen Lo. Just curious, has anyone on this list had a positive experience seeing Dr. Peacocke, or am I wasting time and money? This is so frustrating. For the last 4 months, my life has been hell. Started with what I thought was a yeast or bacterial infection, which I treated with Clindesse and Diflucan. It seemed to go away only to come back 3 weeks later. This time, only Diflucan. Sort of went away but came back 3 weeks later, and now the burning, blotchy redness, swelling, tiny bumps, horrible pain and impossible intercourse is constant. This is also accompanied by urinary problems that feel very much like a UTI, but is not. Like spasams in my uretha, but no doctor seems to know why. Does this thing ever just go away on its own? Like so many of us on here, this has impacted every aspect of my life, so much so tha tI started going to a therapist. Any thoughts are appreciated.
