Guest guest
We let them take off with pay and require them return to duty at the end of the day when let go from jury duty. Henry jury duty Need some help here. I can not find anything in our policy/procedure manual that covers jury duty. What does everyone else do for jury duty? Do you pay the entire 24 hours for the employee even though they are only in jury duty for 8 hours, or do you have them return to work. Any help would be appreciated. When I was with Life Care Plus we would have them just return to work afterward unless they were picked. Might be sethimg to ask your HR person. The two times I've got notices they jury pool was cancelled. Wayne Sent from my iPhone Need some help here. I can not find anything in our policy/procedure manual that covers jury duty. Guest guest
Ours is covered under " Civic Leave " . Employee is required to return to work when the Jury is released from service. They are not required to return to duty if the trial runs more than one day. If I were on trial, I would desire to have a well rested and attentive juror deciding my fate, so we allow our personnel on jury duty to have time off for that reason. This is the policy as it stands for our current 24/48 schedule. We will move to 12 hour shifts in the near future and if needed, the policy will be reviewed for change. , Director Seminole EMS From: Henry Barber Sent: Wednesday, December 02, 2009 12:11 PM To: texasems-l Subject: Re: jury duty We let them take off with pay and require them return to duty at the end of the day when let go from jury duty.
