Guest guest
Hi there, I'm trying to get off Cortef and have done pretty well decreasing.. so far. I'm trying to replace it with Ashwaganda. Anyway, I'm currently taking 5mg at 8am and 2.5mg at noon (and taking 500mg Ashwaganda 2x/day). My questions is, from here should I go to 2.5 at 8am and noon or should I discontinue my afternoon dose and stay at 5mg in the am? And thanks for the great responses regarding the causes of low iron! They were very helpful. :^) Alessa " Lots of people talk to animals. Not that many listen though. That's the problem. I would go to 2.5 mg at 8 am and at noon. Like Inga said, don't be afraid to increase again temporarily if you have a significant stress or illness. Many people will still stress dose even after they have weaned off completely. Guest guest
Yes, and I believe this can actually HELP the adrenals at that point, instead of hinder your progress of getting off the steroids, because you are talking a temporary load off them. If they were to get this extra stress, they could start getting more and more depleted again. ~Inga > ..> > wrote: > I would go to 2.5 mg at 8 am and at noon.
