Guest guest
We got home about 10 minutes ago. They kept Aunt n over night. She was in a LOT of pain for a couple of hours. She was really moaning etc. Her pain is still about a 7. They gave her Zofran in IV for nausea. They did give her something in the IV for pain. I think the nurse said it was Morphine. He took the gall bladder and there was a stone in the duct so he got that. She never could have come here and even tried to make it up the ramp and I know if she would have had to go to the bathroom she would try it on her own so she is better there. She should be home tomorrow. We are beat and just about ready for bed. Its been a long day but I am so thankful she came through it ok. The anesthesiologist (sp) came in late this afternoon to check on her. He knelt by her bed and told her he wanted to hear more about her poems sometime. He said you can come visit, no, he said we will take them to park by the river and you can read them to me. I wish everyone could have drs, nurses, like we have at the hospital. When the surgeon saw her the other day he was holding her hand. He has a wonderful bedside manner. When we went to leave I had gotten the wheelchair for Chuck cause his leg was bother him so I left him at the door and went for the car. The valet girl brought him around to the drivers side, made sure he was in then before I could get to my door she had it open for me. We stopped for a bananna split on the way home :-) Hugs nne
