When a person is under 65 one can collect disability. When one passes the age of 65, that same person will then automatically go on SS. Even if the amount is less! That's why I cannot get disability...I'm already on SS. Thought this may be worth mentioning to the board... MamaSher, age 70. IPF 3-06, OR.
