Answer:

Cysteine contains a single SH group that can weakly attach to Hg and

drag it around a bit (the Hg does further damage as it moves around).

In taurine the S is surrounded by Os and a C and can't attach to Hg.

What is chemically the sulfur compound and why is it like cysteine in
