Guest guest
, The first appointment is I believe an hour. The second is a half hour. The fee is not unusual at least my experience here in Northern california. I had found one holistic naturopath that was charging $1000 for the first 1 hour appt. It is ridiculous. unfortunately there are groups of these drs that specialize in treating (I should say manipulating) very sick people and charge ridiculous fees and still can't help. Thats what is really messed up I am not a fan of the Canadian socialized medicine (I am also Canadian), which has health care like a third world country (I have elderly family members who have been severely neglected in Canadian hospitals... I am sure its the same here in the US) BUT if you are going to be dealing with a medical profession that can't help and for the most part is incompetent..socialized medicine makes more sense because at least you do not have to pay for it (at least directly you are not paying for it...but you should still be pe'ed off as your taxes still support this incompetence) > Just curious, how much does that work out to per hour (or per minute, or maybe per second). > > I live in Canada where we don't always know how much the doctor is > billing medicare for our visits so I am amazed at what some US doctors are charging. > > J
