You are going to love this machine!! I got mine about 2 months ago so I'm still experimenting myself. My vegetable garden and our fruit trees are producing right now and I am pureeing the fruits and some veges and freezing them in popsicle containers and then removing them into freezer bags. Plus I've tried several recipes that came with the machine; soups, sauces, juices etc. I too love the green smoothies. I also puree all of my kitchen produce scraps and pour them back into the garden.

If I could only get the dog to stop barking at the noise the Vita-Mix makes :=)

Hi There,My very generous husband just bought me a Vita-Mix 5200 from Costco last night. I'm so excited. I'd love to hear from you all SCDers what you use your blender for and I'd love some recipes. I made my usual green smoothie this morning that turned out soo smooth it was almost juice! I feel so blessed to have the blender, so much so that I don't know where to start with it! I could use your inspirations. One idea was to make my own Lara Bars. I think I heard Marilyn once mention that she does this. I'd like to learn more!
