Guest guest Posted January 24, 2008 Report Share Posted January 24, 2008 I've used the old cast iron cookware for everything from scrambled eggs to crepes to vegetable soup or sauteed shrimp....assuming that it is the safest and I absorb some iron in the process. Gave up everything alum except my pressure cooker which gets used a few times a year, and a ss farberware saucepan that is probably 30 years old... any reason to use only glass, or is the cast iron really as ok as I think it is? Also, my doc said today that I seem to be Reverse T3, but doesn't want me on HC, suggested selenium and iodarol? and added back Dr. 's Adrenal stress support and Ad stress herbal drops, continue 90mg Armour daily. Thanks... you guys all know so much ... I'm new to this... tried a teaspoon of sea salt in water this am, and actually felt 'energetic' for several hours...esp as I had to fast until noon... maybe it kept me from crashing, but even after eating, I'd obviously stressed my body too much, and have flatlined this afternoon... hard to think/focus/stay on task. I'll do the 2 tube saliva test in the next few days. Val, you said that I might want to stop all adrenal supports first... but if I do that, I'll be in bed 20 hours a day and a danger on the road the other 4.... LOL.. sorry.. Is there any other way to do it? If I have to, I will... but I do have a baseline test before I started the adrenals a year ago. What do you think?
