Guest guest
I couldn't believe it--I actually didn't even care about eating today. I've heard people say that and I've thought " what do you mean you have to remind yourself to eat! " That's crazy! But I actually kinda felt that way today. We were cleaning the church today and afterwards all the older ladies had brought all kinds of really good stuff (pies, cookies, cake) and I didn't even want any. That was so wonderful...I've always dreamed of not really even caring if I ate instead of feeling like I wanted to devour everything. I hope this feeling stays....Fay from MN

Guest guest
> I couldn't believe it--I actually didn't even care about eating today. I've Wonderful, Fay! Yes, this feeling stays. I have to be careful not to skip meals because I'll crash pretty badly if I do and wonder why (my dear bf has figured it out, tho-- if i look totally bushed or even just grumpy, he'll quiz me about what I've eaten and what's around that I can eat, and he'll also hand me water! How can he be so patient to see through my grumpiness like that?) anyway, my coworkers nag me every day at noon to GO EAT, and they tease me because half the time I whine, " do I hafta? I'm not hungry yet! it's too sooon! " but if I don't go then, I'll lose the social part of it and I won't want to leave work to go eat till the end of the day and that's bad. Dear bf is with me most mornings and we cook breakfast together, whether I'm hungry or not. Some mornings we're in a hurry so he'll bring me fast food and I usually have trouble being hungry right then at 6:30 when he arrives at my place, but he'll sit with me till I'm done even if I'm slow and sleepy (and, he insists, cute). I'm on my own for dinner... and you might notice that i got home from work and sat down in front of my email and am slowly sipping a shake because I can't work up enough appetite to eat a real dinner tonight. --jen

Guest guest
Hi SillyYaks-- What a great name! I don't know that I'm gluten sensitive, but I'm having major health issues, and I figure it doesn't hurt to try cutting gluten. Here's the thing. I have malabsorption and I'm super underweight despite a robust intake of food. When I stop eating gluten I find that I get really hungry between meals and during the night and I start to feel starved. Since I'm so underweight this is concerning to me. Is this a common experience? Should I mush on and assume that as my gut gets in better shape I'll put weight on, or is this a sign that I'm really not getting enough to eat? Any input will be gratefully received! Molly
