Guest guest
Starting from 1 grain Natural the T3 dose should be 12.5: http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/starting1.htm So yes, it looks like you started T3 too high. That may be why you feel better today, having decreased. Changing two things at once (isocort to HC, T4 to T3), it is more difficult to tell what is causing any symptoms. You said you felt pretty good today; so if it were me I'd stay on what you took today. I'd graph temps as per the Dr. Rind chart to ensure they are stable on the HC dose. http://www.drrind.com/therapies/metabolic-temperature-graph (Temps may possibly show a slow, steady rise as you increase T3, I understand that is OK and to be expected. It's the day-to-day variations that are a flag for adrenal issues.) If temps are stable, I'd increase the T3 as per Nick's website; " going up initially by 6.25 every 3 to 5 days and then by 12.5 every 5 to 7 days " from http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/dosing.htm Also, honestly I'd have another phone consult with , and go over this with her. Since you already had a phone consult with her, she has more background info that I do. > > > > > > Started HC and T3 yesterday. Felt good all day until about 8:00 at night.
