Guest guest
Hi Roma, Ferritin at least a 20, huh? Looks like I'll be popping these horse pills for a while then. So 6 is the ferritin of a child, huh? Well, I'll definitely keep that in my back pocket as an excuse when I want to act like a kid again! LOL. Thanks, Gerri > In a message dated 10/31/2003 10:51:36 PM Eastern Standard Time, > jerzger@y... writes: > > > Hi Ladies, > > > > Just received a copy of my bloodwork from 10/21, and my ferritin is > > a 6 (range 10-232). You think THAT'S a wide range--you should come to MY lab--the normal range is 10- to up to 291!!!! >Interesting. I've never seen those ranges. My blood work documents gave a rage of 32 - 151! > Anyone know > what's a good number for ferritin to be at? >I finally feel normal. I've taken my iron EVERY day since I was notified of my problem. Finally, about 1 year after I started taken iron pills I feel normal. I'm still taking iron pills but am not getting anymore " iron poor " symptoms. My intent is to go and have my iron count assessed - then use that number as my measure of health. In other words - listen to your body and then get the number associated with feeling " normal. " Sounds as scientific as the blood work ranges we are all getting - except I trust my body MORE! Good luck Malika
