Guest guest
Have you had your testosterone tested? Low testosterone can cause muscle weakness. Val's testosterone was low and she's had good results with testo cream. Here's a link to one of her posts on the subject: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/message/38745 I also had terrible muscle weakness, low testo was one cause. I guess I knew that women had some testosterone, but I'd always thought of it more as exclusively a male hormone. I learned that women do need a lot LESS than men do, but it is just as IMPORTANT to us. > > Hi, Everyone... > > Quick summary - I've dealt with adrenal fatigue and thyroid issues for years > now. Guest guest
Thanks, Margery!I had it tested probably a year or so ago, along with my other hormones, and it was " in range " at that time. However, I'm now getting closer to 50 and I'd been wondering if it isn't time to do some more sex hormone testing. And interestingly, I just did a search on muscle weakness last night and low testosterone came up! So maybe this is definitely worth me looking into. Thanks for the link and the tip! I've got my appt. moved from next Friday to next Wednesday - that's the soonest I could get it - just can't stay like THIS much longer... Have you had your testosterone tested? Guest guest
Yes, the testosterone is definitely worth looking into, as you are on HC, which can lower it. My testosterone was always fine until I was on HC for a while, then it dropped below measurable levels. > > > Have you had your testosterone tested? Low testosterone can cause muscle > > weakness.
