therapy make great strides for children at this age - crucial life changing

results - really hundreds of studies show it

Do you have medical insurance?

Some medical insurances will be good on covering it

Behavior analysis in miami is excellent (that is the name of one company that

provides that therapy)

They can evaluate your child

My son needed a lot of intensive Aba to learn language and everything in his

life

From getting dress independently, talk, and play with toys.

He is 6 now

Many years ago my son went to Meadow Brook off of s Road. It was very good then but I do remember a Mom that called me because she didn't like the area. My son was diagnosed on the spectrum about a month ago. We went through our Broward schools evaluation for him to start once he is 3. He will be placed in an intensive setting (7-9 students to 3 adults). We are in the Baudhin, Silver Ridge area but we've been told those programs are full. Is anyone aware of what other schools/programs available in this area? Any and all information/advice would be greatly appreciated.

My son is in the Kindegarten cluster in Floranada. There are 6 in the class.

They learn the same cirriculum as the regular Kids, but 1:1 with the

teacher/para.. The SLP & OT comes into the classroom each day & does each child

separately (so for 6 kids, there is always the teacher, the para & either the

OT, SLP or both- taking turns with the kids). Hope this helps...
