Guest guest
> To be honest I am feeling so very well now it is tempting to skip away into the sunset. > It is a wonderful feeling to be well again. > I have cancelled subscription to almost all my other support/Yahoo groups. > But without a doubt this is the one that helped me the most. So I'll be sticking around. > Dean Dean, it is so nice to hear again how well you are doing! I can't recall if you are still chelating? Are you still getting symptoms on rounds? Are you still taking a lot of supplements? I was a bit concerned when you mentioned a while back about still having allergies. I am unclear whether these should go away on their own when you are done with chelation, or whether you need to do something else, such as NAET or something, to get rid of the allergies? Have you any thoughts about that? Thanks so much for sticking around. Even if you are not able to post very often, I am sure I speak for everyone when I say we would greatly value hearing from you on occasion. It would also be interesting to hear updates periodically from some of the other folks in your corner of the world whom you are helping with chelation. If any of them feels like sharing their progress at any time, it would be great to hear from them or from you about how they are doing. Maybe as people make notable advances you could post a brief note about it with their hair test on your site. Not trying to make more work for you - just an idea, and could just be a note a year or two down the road when a person really finishes and is all better. Thanks also for providing the space for posting hair tests and for your participation in all the wonderful discussions about hair test interpretation. --
Guest guest
>Dean, it is so nice to hear again how well you are doing! I can't >recall if you are still chelating? Yes, Round 40. DMSA 50 and ALA 30. Though I dropped the ALA this round. The DMSA seemed to burn my gut a little. My last round was more than 3 weeks ago with both, but that was just before I got my ALCAT IgG food sensitivity results. As soon as I started that diet my healthy literally shifted to a new level. It is one of the most significant things I have ever done for my helath. I can't recommend it enough. Foods I though were helping me were actually hurting me - like goat's milk and ginger. >Are you still getting symptoms >on rounds? Not at this dose. I did when I increased to 100 DMSA 50 ALA. Tremors came. It was very scary. I don't want that again. So although all my symptoms are gone I'm sticking to this dose for another 6 months or so. >Are you still taking a lot of supplements? I've stopped the glandulars, TMG, cortisol and a whole host of others. I have found the things to help the most are Vit E (natural form), Cod Liver Oil (pharaceutical grade), Vit C (2g with each meal), Magnesium, Zinc, Selenium and Tryptophan. Sounds like a lot, but I never had time in the day before with all the pills I used to be popping! My energy is perfect, sleep much, much better, and many other improvements. >I was a bit concerned when you mentioned a while back about still >having allergies. I am unclear whether these should go away on >their own when you are done with chelation, or whether you need to >do something else, such as NAET or something, to get rid of the >allergies? Have you any thoughts about that? I'm now very healthy, but will be maintaining all I've learned and head for optimal health. I have an IgE (immediate) allergy to horse, grass, dog and cat. Can NAET help these? I was talking mainly of food allergies and they are clearing after the ALCAT. I beleive almost all the metals are out, but I'm going to keep chelating for 6 more months (maybe ALA only) and then do one round a month maintainence. Plus I have a vigourous regime of other health enhancing tools I have learned while unwell. >It would also be interesting to hear updates periodically from some >of the other folks in your corner of the world whom you are helping >with chelation. It's great that you are able to go forward at that dose. And also great that the allergy testing was so helpful. That is something I really should do at some point. > >Are you still getting symptoms > >on rounds? > > Not at this dose. I did when I increased to 100 DMSA 50 ALA. Tremors came. It was very scary. I don't want that again. So although all my symptoms are gone I'm sticking to this dose for another 6 months or so. Well, the DMSA 50 and ALA 30 is a good dose and you will make lots of progress, so that's super. You obviously have a ways to go to get the toxins out, but it is wonderful that you are feeling so good while doing it. I was doing so well last summer that I reduced my adrenal support a lot and I totally screwed myself up. So be careful about that. Don't interpret having lots of energy as necessarily meaning you have healthy adrenals. This may not apply to you - I am not sure how to tell - just be vigilant. I guess I was not really sleeping that well in the summer (though so much better than in the past that I thought I was doing well). And I was totally ignoring my thyroid test results because my symptoms did not seem bad, or at least not typical. You may really be fine if you are sleeping well, having good energy, etc. I was also exercising, sweating, doing more. It was deceptive. > >I was a bit concerned when you mentioned a while back about still > >having allergies. Can NAET help these? It does for many folks. I have not had treatments for environmental allergies, mainly for foods, supplements, chemicals, but those worked very well for me. I think I am still mildly allergic to lots of stuff that I have not identified (which is why I should try some type of allergy testing, as you have). > I was talking mainly of food allergies and they are clearing after the ALCAT. > I beleive almost all the metals are out, but I'm going to keep chelating for 6 more months (maybe ALA only) and then do one round a month maintainence.
