Guest guest
I rarely eat cheese and don’t eat dry curd cottage cheese either, and haven’t noticed any bad reaction when I do; the yogurt is the only milk product I use. (I’m at the point in my healing – or was! -- where I think I can go back to unpasteurized milk, as there are potentially many problems with store-bought milk. But now I’ll wait on that a bit. By default, I didn’t eat any yogurt this morning. But I’m leaning toward thinking I may be eating too much fruit. I’ll eliminate the fruit first, and see what that does, if anything. Jodi, your experience sounds somewhat like what’s happening to me. (My face is more swollen today but slightly less itchy. Someone recommended offlist that I see a dermatologist. I’m reluctant to do that until I’ve tried some of the natural remedies suggested. I wasn’t impressed with the last dermatologist I went to. Very conventional. Probably wouldn’t even think yeast can be a problem, e.g. So I’m curious: what did your dermatologist recommend/prescribe? Was he/she helpful? n From: BTVC-SCD [mailto:BTVC-SCD ] On Behalf Of jodah235 Sent: Wednesday, July 08, 2009 9:57 PM To: BTVC-SCD Subject: Re: A dilemma needing advice n, Might not be the yogurt.. might be other dairy in general (cheese). Just an FYI some people develop a weird sensitivity to foods after months and no it doesn't have to affect you in the normal ways. I for instance after a year on the diet started flaring on my skin as opposed to the insides. It was a very weird period for me. Bizzare rashes, blotches of rosacea. I even had to go to a dermatologist a couple of times- it got so bad on my face and on my side. I also developed many dry skin patches.
