Guest guest
How are these teachers being hired? What kind of process do they need to go through to be in the classrooms? Do they have any psychological testing done? This is some scary story, and getting to be the norm lately. I heard something at a school meeting this week that made my skin crawl because it just goes to show the system...A principal was told that she should try and interview some latin professionals for a position at her school. When she asked how she would know if they were latin or not, she was told to go by their last name, if they had a " spanish " ring to them, to call those people. Really? Is that any indicative of anything that might be pertinent to this specific hiring? In the case of this lastest news, why is the teacher being transferred to another school? I see that there's no video, but still, keep this animal away from students! I also read the comments and it's scary to see that some people think that special ed teachers are doing us a favor for taking our kids in...and it's normal that they get frustrated and take out on the kids, since they're so hard to deal with and the teachers either take on the assignment or get fired...Do we really care? It's their problem, not ours. If you don't have what it takes, go away. Go find something else. > > FLORIDA Teacher encourages students to abuse kindergarten autistic boy for not sharing toys, dragged him on the floor and gave him rug burns and threatened to cut off his tongue. > > http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/07/19/narcoossee-elementary-school-teacher-ac\ cused-of-threatening-to-cut-off-tongues-dragging-student-across-cloor_n_1687166.\ html >
