Overuse of Antibiotics & Mercury Toxicity

I'm wondering if there are others who received excessive amounts of

antibiotics in combination with ongoing amalgam exposure.

In HS, I was put on daily tetracycline for acne. This lasted almost

three years, until my immune system completely went out. I missed

most of the second half of my senior year with mono, strep, yeast

infections, etc., not to mention impossible plantar warts, etc., and

during college years often told my mother I felt like I'd never

really gotten over mono. There were frequent ear & throat

infections while unchecked tooth absesses festered. Although I have

managed my immune system fairly well in the past 4-5 years, thanks

to alternative & integrative medicine, it's a very high maintenance

situation. Regular infections that quickly become severe

were 'normal' for me since HS, which meant taking other antibiotics

on and off without knowledge of probiotics, and it eventually became

a chronic fatigue situation. I developed many food allergies &

chemical sensitivities prior to learning about my amalgam toxicity.

Like most, I have to protect myself from candida overgrowth, but I

think I'm prone to bouts of other digestive infections, too. If

that's the case, it's definitely giving me some complications with

chelation. If anyone has had similar experiences & can offer some

helps, I'd greatly appreciate it! What's especially hard is that my

energy level has steadily been increasing, so I've been very active

and involved in things, making it also harder to live on such a

cautious diet.

This is typical. I think we can all say we have had chronic immune

issues or mercury related problems that were treated with

antibiotics. Which further irritates the problem. I noticed that my

acne went away when they took all my fillings out. Keep up with the

yeast killing protocol, maybe read " The Yeast Connection " book for

further ideas to manage it. Work on immune support with chelation.

Also, endocrine system support. Mercury will leave you with tired

adrenals, slow thyroid and estrogen dominance (this feeds the yeast

too). Chronic Cadidasis can create allergies, by causing a

condition called leaky gut. Once this condition is improved or

healed, you should see some improvement in the allergies. Healing

the gut requires lots of probiotics, antiyeast, anti whatever else

you might have(bacterias etc), usually digestive enzymes. I also

found it best to avoid milk of any kind. Some people need to use a

gluten free or casein free or both type of diet. It varies by person.
