Guest guest
Andy seems to mention that chelating with DMPS or DMSA concurrently seems to reduce the side effects of those chelators, and " changes the side effect profile " of ALA, which I have taken to mean perhaps reduces it's side effects too. A couple people in the group have responded that they have used ALA alone before, but I want to add a question as to whether they could do that early on or had to go through some period using the " DM " s first. We've done transdermal alternating days (a no-no by Cutler) previously for only about 30 days total, spread of course over 2 months due to alternating days - can we just go to ALA? Our child appears to have most of her mercury in the brain anyway - her DMPS challenge test (a no-no I know, now) was zero for mercury, and she's super coordinated and " looks normal " but can't make sense of things mentally (although echos and speaks well as long as thinking mostly not required). ________________________________________________________________________ AOL now offers free email to everyone. TK---yes A couple people in the group have > responded that they have used ALA alone before, but I want to add a > question as to whether they could do that early on TK--- yes, 2-3 months after all amalgam removal of Hg exposure or had to go through > some period using the " DM " s first. TK--- it is optional to use the D's to help reduce body burden which is often necessary to reduce side effects when starting ala so one can continue to chelate We've done transdermal alternating > days (a no-no by Cutler) previously for only about 30 days total, > spread of course over 2 months due to alternating days - can we just go > to ALA? TK-- maybe, maybe not. more info is necessary for more input > > Our child appears to have most of her mercury in the brain anyway - her > DMPS challenge test (a no-no I know, now) was zero for mercury TK-- this doesn't really mean anything and is not informative - do a DDI Hair elements analysis and follow the counting rules. , and > she's super coordinated and " looks normal " but can't make sense of > things mentally (although echos and speaks well as long as thinking > mostly not required). >
