RT3 back, but different question on low temps

I do have RT3 issue still, I think Val, you said it was 16 and should be 20 or

higher? Anyway, at this time I'm at 3 grains of Erfa. My doctor took my off

Cytomel a few months back when my RT3 ratio was good.

I raised to 3 grains 5 weeks ago and my temps were normal and stable at 98.6

most every day since getting to 2 grains. I still had some lingering hypo

symptoms so I wanted to get to 3 grains. I did and was doing fine until 2 days

ago.

Now my temps are dropping in the last 2 days. The weather is also a bit chillier

than it had been, not sure if that is why.

Today I had 97.6 at 9:30 am, and at 12:30pm and at 3:30pm

Why would I be doing fine the last raise to 3 grains for 5 weeks, and now temps

are low and I'm feeling cold with this chillier weather?

I am going to discuss with my doctor about the RT3 and maybe just doing T3 only

from now on, but maybe I need to raise the Erfa 1/4 grain?

If I'm getting more RT3, would that cause the temps to drop and be steady? Will

increasing the Erfa just cause more RT3?

My D and ferritin are in the 70's, and all other issues I think are fine, so not

sure why the RT3 has returned.

It may not be RT3, it may be your adrenals.

RT3 takes quite a while to build up, Adrenals drop very quickly.

If that extra dose is using more cortisol then you can produce you

will feel rubbish and temperature will drop.

Are you supplementing cortisol?
