Guest guest
I want to hear people's personal experiences as to how they feel and how long it took for them to feel better once on T3 and off T4, how do you break up your dose of Cytomel, how much Cytomel are you taking, or are you taking SR T3? What works for you, in other words? I have panhypopituitarism so have had to replace 7 or 8 hormones every day for years (full thyroid, adrenal, growth hormone, ovarian). Was on thyroid meds containing T4 for years; that bit only went to total hell recently when I got severe hypo symptoms for months, whilst on Levoxyl/Cytomel combination (100 mcg/5 mcg respectively). My rT3 tested @ 300 at the end of April; for several weeks I have been taking Cytomel only (now @ 25 mcg). I think T4 meds are quite responsible for my NEVER feeling well on all my endocrine replacements (brain fog, fatigue), although I have been working on getting them all " balanced " for the full five years since my Dx. Or maybe there is a place within this site that members have already related their stories for reading, and someone can show me where? Thanks!
