Guest guest
Personally I think ent's are the most useless of useless dr's... Just goes to show you how far a tuning fork and a lab coat can get you...they'll go into their standard mumbo jumbo about tinnitus and its causes (idiosympatic-unknown causes. not sure about spelling) The nerves and nerve/hair follicles (I think it is) in your inner ear are the most sensitive to any toxins (ie mercury-viruses). I think it makes sense when you are chelating that your inner ears and therefore hearing (tinnitus) might be affected.. I know how annoying this tinnitus can be. I am not chelating yet and have stopped my Andy supplements (due to blood tests being done) and my tinnitus is much worse. I lost my hearing about 3 years ago (sudden sensory hearing loss or soemthing like that) and my ent basically said tough luck and good luck. Some of the causes from my web research is heavy metals/viruses I was lucky to have a contact at UCSF-ENT; a Dr Lustig who had used steriod shots to the inner ear (very painful) to treat this hearing loss. I recovered about 30% of my hearing. > I know for me ... I got it more after amalgam removal than when I > had the fillings in. When I get it .... it sounds more like cicadas. > I'm wondering if going to the ENT will be a waste of time. I'm sure > my recurrent tinnitus is mercury-related ... but I'm sure I'll just > get a blank look from the doc.
