wanted to say that we love you too and, just because you're the listowner,

doesn't mean you're not allowed to have some down time. you take as much time as

you need, we'll behave ourselves and, if we don't, you know i'll tell you anyway

There are many times now that I wait until is in school and cry. I

can't talk to anyone about anything because it effects no one the way it does

me. Her dx has changed the person that I was and questioned that. I believe

it does that for many of us.

There are many things you could do. My best friend has a Masters in some

type of library degree. She makes more part time than my husband does full

time. She travels and organizes government offices files and paperwork. I

can see you doing that. You could paint, you could do ANYTHING. The world

is out there.

I find it very enriching to help with our local task force. Right now I'm

collected data to help parents explain autism to their families.

Summer will come soon enough and with the sun the joy will come as well. Let

the sand eating begin

spent so much time involve in figuring out how to help her, that I don't

know what else to do.

I know it's hard when you devoted yourself to your child and you family

and then they move on and kind of leave you behind. So now you have to

figure it out how are you going to do on your own, and maybe you don't

even know who you really are without being a mom or a wife. This is hard

to do. So take all the time you need.

One last thing I want to tell: I HAVE NEVER GOTTEN BORED READING YOUR

POST. I look forward to read what you have to say. I remember not long

ago I even asked you if you were mad with me, because you haven't replay

my posts.

I wish I could make it all easier for you, but there is not easy way for

I agree with this. The small amount of time I spend volunteering for PEP

makes me feel " good " . I see what these people do everyday, (without large

paychecks, believe me), to help parents who just don't have the time, money

or skills to help their kids.

Volunteering is great, also, because you can do it on YOUR TIME.
