Guest guest
Val -- last week I had the first 'stage' of root canal and did not think to stress dose as I am generally not nervous about the dentist. I searched for this answer but there do not seem to be clear instructions. I am not sure if it was the novacaine or the procedure, but I got very tense and my heart was pounding as we got into the drilling. Turned out, my procedure was more complicated so he sent me over to the oral surgeon immediately. By the time I got to the second doctor, I had calmed down a lot....and he too gave me more anesthetic (I will assume it was novacaine as well). I had no reaction and was rather calm. I go again today for stage 2 -- and wanted to know what you think I should do? I am going to the oral surgeon (where I had no reaction last time). Currently I am on Cortef at 10-7.5-5.2.5 (25mg a day). And, thank you for your help.

I always have to tell them now, don't use epinepherine, I have enough already :-) Cindy B God Bless America! One nation under God
