Guest guest
CJ, glad to hear you are doing okay...did your vulvar surgery leave you with vulvar pain? You mentioned that your mom said you should just have a hysterectomy...if you have problems with your uterus than it would possibly make sense, but if your uterus is actually okay...I'd leave it alone...just my two cents, anyway. If my uterus hadn't caused so many problems...I wouldn't even be considering this surgery...but it is and I'm just tired of fighting with it! If your comfortable with it, maybe you could post your story, like how you found out that you had vulvar cancer...symptoms and all. Might help someone else.... God Bless, ~Chelle cj wrote: Chelle, Yes, I am doing ok right now with the vulva cancer. My surgeries were in 2002 and I've been ned since then. I'm still on 6 mo check-ups with the gyn/onc so I feel very confident that if it does reoccur that we'll catch it pretty fast this time. Thanks for asking. cj
Guest guest
Chelle, you mentioned in your first post today, that you really didn’t want to do it (have the hysterectomy). Please, no matter how many of us (me included) say how great it was for us, you have to feel confident in your own decision. There is a difference in being afraid of having it done, and not wanting to have it done. Wait until you say to yourself that you are so glad you made the decision for surgery. It has to come from you – straight from your heart, that inner gut feeling, that you are confident with your decision. If you are still saying that you really don’t want to do it, then you are not ready. nne From: VulvarDisorders [mailto:VulvarDisorders ] On Behalf Of Chelle Sent: Tuesday, August 14, 2007 5:04 PM To: VulvarDisorders Subject: Re: Hysterectomy anyone?
