This morning I took a stool sample to send to a lab for my doc. I am working with a new doc now that I moved accross the country! So, anyway, I noticed black in it. Is that die off or is that bleeding higher up in my intestines? Could be dried blood, could be gunk from your intestines finally coming out, could be somehting you ate. You never know. Ok, so this does not necessarily mean the diet isn't working for me. If that happens, I don't know what I am going to do. The level of frustration I am at burns strong, but deep. I want this done. I am sure you can relate.

Hey Val..

Take a deep breath!

You are only 7 days into the diet. It takes time. Some weird stuff can happen

to your body as your gut ecology is shifting due to starving the bad bugs. Just

follow the diet, progress slowly, hold off on advanced foods including nuts and

take it day by day.

If things get out of hand then go to your doctor. Many of us go through what

you are experiencing.. It's just part of the process.

Hang in there and don't worry too much!

Thanks Jodi, yesterday was day 6, I miscounted!!! I just want it all to work

out. I will follow your advice than. It means alot that I am not alone in

this.
