I get them from www.wellnesstrader.com (used to be NaturalPharmacy.com). They have SAMe from Source Naturals, Jarrow Formulas and Olympian Labs (http://www.wellnesstrader.com/supplement-facts/SAMe-gold-400mg-40-OL). I get the Olympian Labs SAMe-Gold due to some research I did (can't remember why anymore, but I think it had something to do with purity standards). They are 400 mg, 30 to a box. I get three at a time, which allows for free shipping and a discount to $35/box ($1.16/tablet). Source Naturals and Jarrow Formulas are a bit cheaper at $25/box ($0.83/tablet). Yours would be a little more ($0.90), depending on shipping - although LifeExtension.com doesn't show the price you quote, even at six. Source Naturals and Jarrow Formulas are also reputable companies. Wellnesstrader.com also has a points program. I've gotten a couple of boxes free over the years. I get my milk thistle there too.

The SAMe-Gold label says " Pharmaceutical Grade, enteric coated, blister packed. 800 mg (yielding 400 mg S-adenosyl-L-methionine) " . SAMe is not very stable, so I keep them in the refrigerator too.

Make sure you read the label first. If the individual is using standard antidepressants, their physician should be consulted. In addition, some people should not take it at all (Parkinson's, bipolar disorder, manic depression).

through lifeextension.com, a company I trust, and a box of 20 400-mg

tablets is $18.90 a box (for four boxes) plus shipping.
