American Heart Card Courses in Bellville Texas

Austin County EMS is hosting " Card " courses at the Courthouse in Bellville,

Texas. Through grant funding these courses are free of charge with the

exception of paying for the actual cards. The classes are capped at 20 students

each. Each course is a one day program that begins at 8am and continues until

complete. The ACLS/PALS Instructor course is a two day course and both days

must be attended in order to receive credit. The classes are being taught by

TEEX. Textbooks must be purchased by the student prior to class. If you would

like to attend, please send an email to mparker@... with the

dates your preferred date. I will return your email with confirmation of your

schedule or I will advise you if the class is full. The following is the

schedule of classes:

Advanced Cardiac Life Support: Provider (ACLS card is $2.75)

• January 6, 2010 at 8am until complete

• January 20, 2010 at 8am until complete

Pediatric Advanced Life Support: Provider (PALS card is $2.75)

• February 3, 2010 at 8am until complete

• February 17, 2010 at 8am until complete

Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS card is $17.50)

• March 17, 2010 at 8am until complete

• March 31, 2010 at 8am until complete

American Heart ACLS/PALS Instructor Course (Must be currently certified in ACLS

and/or PALS)

• January 13th and 14th, 2010 at 8am until complete (MUST ATTEND BOTH DAYS)

PHTLS Instructor Course

• March 22, 2010 at 8am until complete
