Hi Everyone - So I did a saliva hormone test (I know that blood tests are better, but they didn't do that, don't get me started!) I have the results and I am trying to figure them out. I am currently in-between finding a dct, so your help is greatly appreciated! My main question is this: I have Dr. Vliets book, Screaming to be heard, and her recommendations for day 21 (when I had the test) is Estradiol 200-250 pg/ml, but the test optimal range is quite different. Well, I must be missing something cause my results were:estradiol- 1.7 pg/ml (The test says the optimal range for the luteal phase is 0.2-5.0 pg/ml) I am sure that the units of measurement are the same, so I am not sure how Vliets and my test's optimal ranges can be so completely different. Help! Progesterone - 0.20 ng/ml (test says optimal range 0.1-0.5)Testosterone - 29.3 pg/ml (Test optimal range

15-35)DHEA - 338.5 pg/ml (Test optimal range 300-500)Thanks so much for anyone's advice!Meg

the saliva tests measurements are measured in the same units, but its a different amount when its blood versus saliva. So you have to go by the reference on the sheet that came with the results. Which lab did you use? Hope that helps. Kimmi
