A week or so ago someone on one of the list I am on mentioned that they

had taken B12 vitamin and their burning was either better or gone. Some

one mentioned that this burning is from damaged nerve endings. So I

did the usual web searches and found that B12 is for nerve endings and

so I decided I would try it. Well, I took 500mg twice a day and it got

better but not gone. Then I reread about it and found the daily dose

is 1000mg recommended. So I up mine to 1000mg in the morning and

evening. Well, it has been a week and for the last two days I have had

no burning. So I will stay on this dosage for a couple of days and

then go back to 500mg twice a day. I bought my B12 at a discount store

and they are a tiny tablet that taste sweet. Let me know if it helps

anyone and I will let you all know if this bubble burst. I have had

the burning for two years and many doctor visits and no one knew what

to do. I don't have insurance and so it has been a search for a natural

cure and just hope this continues to work. Good Luck Judy

I wonder if you meant 1000 mcg. instead of mg. If you are taking 1000 mg.

daily I would be interested to know the brand. B12 comes in mcgs. usually.

1000 mcg = 1 mg.
