Finally gained weight!

I started the diet on December 1st at around 94 pounds. At around month 3, I

suddenly lost 4 or 5 of them. Since I'm a little over 5'4 " , that's just a tad

bit on the skinny side.

I recently noticed my stomach was looking fat again (ugh) and my boobs were

growing (double ugh). I just weighed myself, and I'm at 98 pounds! Hurray...sort

of. I also measured my stomach, and it's grown 2 whole inches! My stomach is fat

even when the rest of me is skinny, so I went from 29 inches to 31. I sure wish

that when I gained weight, the fat would distribute itself in areas where I

actually need it. The butt would be a good start ;-).

I think the key to my new found fluffiness is the allergy med my doc gave me

last month (Zyrtec - contains a couple of illegals). It's given me a ginormous

appetite, which I guess is a rare side effect. I now can eat 1800 calories in a

day pretty easily, and yesterday even hit 2000 for the first time ever.

On an OT note, I got braces today...for the second time. My teeth were doing

some crazy shift and crushing a couple of the front ones (yeah, that kind of

hurts). The dentist said my only option was to wear braces on the top row for

about 8 months. Not an expense I needed at this time, but I'm now very festive

with my red and blue rubberbands. People already think I look like a teenager

(I'm 34), and this will probably do nothing to help with that impression.

So anyway, I guess the point of this post was to give hope to the skinny people.

It took me 6 months to start gaining weight, so try not to worry too much about

getting thin during the early months of the diet. The weight will come on

eventually!
