Guest guest
I have a recipe that might be of interest to those of you who are looking for ways to get calcium into the diet. This came from a Quick Cooking magazine but I originally found it elsewhere (so don't know where the credit belongs...) It is like an Orange Julius for those who are familiar with that. It is delicious! 1 can (6oz) frozen orange juice concentrate (could use calcium fortified), 1 cup water, 1 cup milk (I used dari Free-it has as much calcium as milk), 1/2 cup sugar (can use less, it's very sweet), 1 tsp. vanilla, 8-10 ice cubes (I always use 8, makes it richer). Combine all in a blender, cover and process until thick and slushy. Yummy! (Sorry about the format, don't know why I can't use my tab feature) Rosie
