My cell is: mobile Please contact me directly in the above manner. 1) Company Description: CHS a leading occupational health provider has challenging opportunities in operational medicine and disaster response with World Class health services organizations. 2) Description of Job Duties (bullet points strongly encouraged and recommended) Responsible for OCONUS based operational support of assigned contracts for a leading occupational health care provider. I. Principal Responsibilities of the Classification: Performs many of the following responsibilities: 1. Provides health care services to patients under the direction and responsibility of a Physician, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner 2. Examines patients, performs physical exams, and compiles medical data, including health history. 3. Performs therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, management of infection, EKG's, etc. 4. Renders direct patient care, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, prescribing pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment of health problems, health promotion, and preventative care. 5. Applies scientific knowledge to human treatment responses to actual or potential health problems 6. Documents and maintains patient records of services. 7. Coordinates treatment plan with medical preceptor, other caregivers on-site, or Medical Director as appropriate 8. Participates in employee training and orientation programs 9. Plans and prepares for aeromedical evacuation missions. 10. Coordinates with operational mission planners for the safe evacuation of the patients from the originating facility to the destination facility 11. Provides medical attendance if required. 3) Description of Job Requirements (bullet points strongly encouraged and recommended) II. Special Knowledge/Skills Required: 1. Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs 2. Experience in providing medically related class presentations concerning emergency trauma care. III. Education Required: Graduate of a military medic program (e.g. 18D, or IDMT), civilian EMT-P certification program with >2years of clinical experience in diagnosis and treatment of trauma and routine illnesses IV. Desired Experience: 1. 5-7 years experience in the medical field as an EMT, or medic (this will be evaluated on an individual basis) 2. Experience on deployed contingency operations or similar medical experience 4) Company Benefits (if available): FT position with benefits.
