Guest guest
-----Original Message----- On Behalf Of This is what I teach my cardiac pts: If the top number of your blood pressure is under 100 or your bottom number is under 50 or if your heart rate is under 50 do not take the beta blocker. If any of the three apply. Wait take your blood pressure later and if none of the above apply than take it. DJ, IMHO if your doctor told you to take the blood pressure meds – you should take them! Our group can offer advice and support, but everyone here should listen to their own doctors at all times regarding meds and test etc. Ken was on blood pressure meds for 7 years before transplant, you surely don’t want a bleed. _,___ Barb in Texas - Together in the Fight, Whatever it Takes!
