Sometimes it is hard to dx whether Chron's or UC. I

was dx'd with Chron's for 8 years before it was

determined I had UC instead. The reasoning from the

doctor was that there was so much scarring it was

always hard to determine, but once determined, I opted

for surgery. Sometimes it just takes a long time to

make that final dx. it took a year to get my PSC dx.
