I need some help RE: crohn's disease

Okay, this isn't for me but my husband and I NEED some help. He was

dx with crohns 3 years ago. Went on entecort and pentasa and things

got better for a couple months. Then back to the diarrhea 8-10 times

a day, horrible stomach cramping, etc. He, at the time, had

inflammation in his " terminal ilium " .

My husband is stubborn and he didn't go to the doctor FOREVER about.

Finally a few months ago I got him to go and the same GI that dx him

did another colonoscopy and endoscopy and told him that he was wrong

the first time, doesn't have crohn's disease.

So my husband still suffers. They gave him so meds to help diarrhea

but they don't help. Last night I was talking him and he started

coughing so he took a drink of water. Well within 5 minutes he was

running to the bathroom with horrible stomach cramps and D and was in

there for about 15 minutes. He ended up not sleeping well because of

this.

So, does that sound like Crohn's disease? I want to take him to

another doctor but he won't take that much time off work and I really

don't knwo what to do.
