Guest guest
Being hypo can cause air hunger but being hypo can also be caused by Lyme. You can still treat the symptoms and feel better but it will not cure Lyme. It might be wise to look at more Lyme symptoms and better yet to get an Igenex western blot test for Lyme. It can remain dormant for many years. Depending where you live (or for that matter where you've lived) Lyme is very prevalent. Guest guest
Hi Lynn, Thanks for answering. My symptoms are: brain fog, depression, low temps. (but stable), air hunger, fatigue. This is what bothers me on a daily basis. Sometimes I have moodswings. I have had no infections or fevers in a long, long time that I can remember, though I did have a little cold this winter. I am praying that getting this Cytomel into my system, since I'm reversing, and my ratio number is 10.78, that I will improve. What is your story? Input is appreciated. And if you'd rather email me direct, that is ok, too! Guest guest
I have not heard this referred to as air hunger before, but then I am new. My experience of air hunger is feeling like my body forgot how to breathe automatically. I have to lay still and think about breathing, telling my lungs to breathe in and breathe out. I know breathing is supposed to be part of our automatic system that runs on its own, but sometimes this automatic system fails for me and I have to tell my body to breathe or breathing simply stops. In my case, I suspect it is both low adrenals and extreme hypothroid. This is not supposed to happen. It's like telling your heart to beat. Ours is a frustrating condition.
