Guest guest
Thanks for your reply. Yes, I know I have a lot of problems. ;-) - You're right about the HPA thing, my specialist states that ME patients suffer from a disturbed HPA-axis. - What do you mean, it needs treatment but no cortisol? - For my esophagus I'm taking omeprazole allright. I don't know about my stomach acid, but I do know there's a valve somewhere that doesn't close as it should, thus causing reflux and inflammation of the esophagus. Does the Betaine HCL you're talking about work for this too? -I'm working on my iron! > > You have a ton of issues that ALL interact. Atually your specialist is > partly correct,. Yes cortiosl but ENOUGH of it. 10mg is only enough to shut down your ACTH not replace what it si shutting down. You cannto add to what you already make as ther eis a feedback loop that si hyper reactive when you are low in cortisol. - For my esophagus I'm taking omeprazole allright. I don't know about my stomach acid, but I do know there's a valve somewhere that doesn't close as it should, thus causing reflux and inflammation of the esophagus. Does the Betaine HCL you're talking about work for this too? Usually this is assumed not fact. Most reflux in hypo/adremnal people is caused by poor digestion from LOW stomach acid. Betaine HCL is basically stomach acid thich aids digestion and there fore stops the reflux. -I'm working on my iron! -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
