Hi everyone,

I was diagnosed with vestibulitis and DIV about two years ago. My

doctors had me try estrogen cream, hydrocortisone, a few courses of

clindomycin, and eventually tricyclic antidepressants. I also tried

lidocaine. I have to say that none of them cleared up my symptoms and

in fact, the hormones really affected my mood and had other side

effects (sweating, difficulty sleeping, etc.). The tricyclics also

had negative effects (again, lack of sleep, suppression of appetite).

Lidocaine sort of helped but then it would wear off or it would be

too strong and orgasm would be impossible.

I ended up getting pregnant (despite the painful intercourse ;) ) a

year ago November and noticed that my symptoms subsided after my baby

was born in August. However, they seem to be coming back and

intercourse is again too painful to try.

I am weary of trying all these chemical treatments again (and I am

still breastfeeding) and was wondering if anyone had natural

alternatives? Does the low oxalate diet work? Is there a natural

lubricant that anyone recommends?

Thanks!

Deb

As far as a natural lubricant goes, i would highly recommend Firefly andthe Sensua line. Or virgin organic coconut oil.Hollis Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with vestibulitis and DIV about two years ago.
