Guest guest
I was doing both the pelvic floor therapy and also physical therapy for rib pain and lower back pain simultaneously. What I found was the exercises the PT had me doing for the pelvic floor seemed to make the lower back pain worse. Should this be the case? These were two different physical therapists. I think the pelvic floor therapy might be helping a little with the pelvic muscles, however. The PT for the back pain, however, made the back pain worse so I stopped it. That doc wanted to send me for a nerve block and I looked it up online and saw that was mainly cortizone and said "maybe later" because I'm already on Lyrica for the vulvodynia. I really don't believe cortizone shots are the answer to things... but can provide some temporary relief to some, I guess. But, here's my question... my physical therapist quit doing the PT... so I'm searching for a new PT within an hour of me in Spartanburg, SC... does anyone know of any PTs who do the pelvic floor in NC, SC?
