Mathews update from St Louis (via Denver)_

Hello all

I just talked to Mathews.  It will be a month this week that he had his bilateral transplant.  He told me since our last conversation, he has been fighting CMV and a fungal infection. His computer is completely out of order and is unable to read or send e-mails.  He said fighting the CMV and a continued lack of sleep have taken its toll. His doctors are putting him on Ambien and hopefully that will give him the rest that he needs. Last week he was too exhausted to even do rehab.  He is still strong in his faith but I am sure he could use words of encouragement.  His address is:
