Guest guest
Hey Barb, I'm a Labrador too! I'm not so sure that's a wonderful thing, but it sounds about right except the only modeling I'd be likely to do would be in a medical book for some visual imaging--I think my ultra sounds are particularly appealing. My nephew writes a blog that is very, very funny. Anyone want to wander through his male insecurity issues here it is: rockmitchell.blogspot.com. I make comments under the name Cheryl. Sometimes the comments are even funnier than t he blog. There is one on scouting that is split-your-gut funny--especially the comments. I'd like to take some credit since I was his AP English teacher and Academic Decathlon coach. Hope it gives you all some laughs. Barb, I just got the DVD set for Freaks and Geeks the whole series. Did you ever see that? I tell you I just laugh and laugh as I watch it. Well worth the $50.00 I paid on Amazon. hope you have a great weekend. Take care, Cheryl ID TGIF > What breed of dog are you? Guest guest
German Shepherd The Perfectionist Doggedly dedicated to getting the job done, you don't let silly little distractions get in the way of putting in a full day's work. And after you come home, chowing down on a little grub and taking a little catnap is all it takes to get you up and at 'em for round two, whatever that may entail. Your dogma emphasizes the importance of hard work, and you swim laps around your dog-paddling, time-wasting co-workers. Your cleverness leads to you often being entrusted with some pretty important tasks, which you are always more than happy to sink your canines into. You really dig being outdoors and love a bit of exercise, but you draw the line at the ridiculous stuff, choosing a game of beach volleyball over Pilates in the park any day. Learn more » FAMOUS GERMAN SHEPHERDS: Teddy Roosevelt, Queen , Humphrey Bogart, Oprah LIKELY PROFESSIONS: Professional Athlete, Policeman, Wilderness Guide, Meteorologist Well I’m not sure about this. I thought I was more the retriever type, like Barb!!! And my likely profession are all very unlikely…where is fulltime mother and caregiver??? Bit of fun anyway, Penny T
Guest guest
I'm a German Shepherd...loves the outdoors and is a very hard dedicated worker. BTW, I left work early yesterday and called the doc to get me started on the narcotic patch. Work is pestering me already to return to work. I told them it would be open-ended depending on if and when I would adjust to the new medication. They were not happy with that answer and pinned me down to next week. Which, obviously isn't enough time to determine if the patch will help with the itching or even if I can drive and work while taking it. Guest guest
I am very interested in how this works for you. My itching is crazy again. About the best I can do is distraction, which is less and less effective. I often think of you when I'm tearing my skin up. I hope and pray you get some relief. Have a good weekend, Take care,, Cheryl RE: TGIF > > I'm a German Shepherd...loves the outdoors and is a > very hard dedicated worker. > > BTW, I left work early yesterday and called the doc to > get me started on the narcotic patch. Take the quiz……. http://www.dogster. com/quizzes/ what_dog_ breed_are_ you/ It says I’m a Labrador Retriever! The Caretaker Your family is what makes you tick, and you never "flea" from an opportunity to hang out with the whole gang. A family picnic complete with hot dogs, deviled eggs and a refreshing swim in the lake is hard for you to stray from. Your sparkly temperament and dogged intelligence mean you are not only a blast to hang out with, but great to work with as well. Your close pals appreciate your patience and forgiveness, knowing you'd rather let sleeping dogs lie than dwell on the mishaps of the past. Your dashing good looks may one day lead to a modeling career, if only you can tame the unfortunate clumsiness that sometimes causes you to go flailing from the catwalk. OK, except the modeling career & good looks are wayyyy off base! Barb in Texas - Together in the Fight.... Whatever it Takes!
