Guest guest
Maureen, when did yours come on? Mine has been goin' on for 10 weeks now, almost. I KNOW my adrenals have been in trouble, but have been treating them for almost the whole 10 weeks. Just now got on Cytomel. My tests are that I'm reversing pretty badly. Is your shortness of breath ongoing? Mine is the worst in the a.m. and mid afternoon. Usually better after the evening meal. Where are you in your journey? You can email me if you'd like, or just on here, either way. Blessings to you! Subject: Re: Lyme and Air Hunger...Help Val!To: RT3_T3 Date: Monday, June 7, 2010, 1:47 AM I have not heard this referred to as air hunger before, but then I am new. My experience of air hunger is feeling like my body forgot how tobreathe automatically. I have to lay still and think about breathing, telling my lungs to breathe in and breathe out. I know breathing issupposed to be part of our automatic system that runs on its own, butsometimes this automatic system fails for me and I have to tell my bodyto breathe or breathing simply stops. In my case, I suspect it is bothlow adrenals and extreme hypothroid. This is not supposed to happen. It's like telling your heart to beat. Ours is a frustrating condition.Maureen>>>>> Air hunger is VERY common in hypothyroidism. It is caused by lack of> oxygen in the cells as your respiration is slower and heart ois slower> and thus you are not pumping enough oxygen to the body.>> --> >>
