Best form of iron: most folks here report best results with iron bisglycinate.

How long it will take to raise ferritin: it IS aggravatingly slow. I know of

no accurate way to predict exactly how long, there are so many variables; how

well the iron is absorbed; how well the body will " hang on " to the iron. The

good news is that low 40s is too low, but I have seen (and been) much worse.

While continuing to supplement iron to continue increasing ferritin up to 70-90.

A ferritin between 50 and 70 may allow T3 progress, but possibly slower than

usual.

Taking Vitamin C at the same time iron is taken helps the iron get absorbed

better.
