Guest guest
I Ursodiol a generic of URSO and should we be talking to the doc about whether should continue taking it? I'm assuming it is but don't know for sure. He is on 2700 mg/day (3 pills 3xday) - which is a very high dose for a big man. Barbara
Guest guest
I take 2100 mg/day (175 lbs). Ursodiol is the " generic " version of Actigall, Urso-250, Urso-Forte, etc. The manufacturer of Urso-250 presents data showing better bioavailability of urso, however. I don't think anyone here can say whether his dosage should be reduced. I have an email in to my Dr. for advice.
