Val said " I think chelation is VERY dangerous and should never be attempted

until your thyroid and adrenals are RIGHT. "

Getting to a healthy unhypo state may reduce or eliminate the need for

chelation. Again, from Val's post: " When we are hypothyroid our bodies do not

detox ANYTHING properly, thus YES toxic metals and poisons build up in our

systems "

This may explain why some people have lots of mercury fillings and yet are

perfectly healthy. They are not hypo; they are able to properly detox the

mercury; it does not build up in them.

On the causes of RT3: there are many; not all are known. The almost-universal

experience of this group is, however, that clearing RT3 is beneficial. And very

often, yes, the RT3 comes right back if T3-only is discontinued. That happened

to both Nick and Val (interestingly, Val has no mercury fillings at all.)

(3 amino acids) to my supplement regimen.
