Guest guest
I have had this kind of thing happen- which is the problem. Last time I didn't even recognize that I was mildly hyper, but my pulse, blood pressure (and free t3 and t4 were all up). That was definitely Hashi's. Now that I take temps and pulses all the time I am more aware. As for the HC. I started based on monitoring Dr.Rinds temps (on STTM) and due to other symptoms. No I did not do a saliva test. My own alternative doc doesn't like them much and doesn't find them useful. He also suggested Cortef based on my symptoms and history. Dr. Durrant-Peatfield suggests that if in doubt probably go ahead with the adrenal support. Most tests for adrenal reserve aren't that accurate. Anyway- thanks for your thoughts. I think I'll take down my thyroid a peg and see what happens as this is going on day two. Chris > > Have you had this type of thing happen before? Guest guest
thanks for the reply, . It's really hard for me to tell (Hashis or thyroid dump) because I am only mildly hyper (my temperature has just jumped suddenly into normal range - nowhere near 99) but my pulse and blood pressure have also jumped up and are up again consistently today. This experience is not so different from the first time that I had a Hashi's attack when I was only on a low, low dose of Armour and no HC. Anyway, due to the timing I guess I will drop my thyroid down and see what happens. Thanks for your response. > > I ewwould lower the thyrodi for now.
