It's possible the you had an injury or irritation of the vocal cords or

the nerve to them when you had the ERCP. It would be a very unusual

complication of the test. If this is the case, it should slowly get

better. Even by next week it should improve. Of course, if it's viral

it should start to improve by next week. Without treatment. Steroids

probably aren't going to help and I wouldn't take them without someone

looking at my vocal cords. This can be done in the ENTs office.

Jeanne, a suggestion: please stop using capital letters. Internet

interpretation of capitals is that this means you're screaming or

yelling. I know you're not, so let everyone know by uncapitalizing your

messages.
